“ We did the Silver Oak wine dinner and it was amazing. Everyone from the host, servers, managers and the wine rep were so friendly and hospitable. Willy has several times before and have loved everything. ”

Satisfyingly delectable, well-seasoned read: perfectly crispy, juicy chicken; a sweet waffle & accompanied by spiced watermelon. At 42. a plate, it’s not a budget bite, but the quality, generous portions and overall experience make it definitely worthwhile. The service today was top-notch (I believe Antonella was our server), the vibe was upbeat w fun music, and the space was impressively clean and stylish. I arrived a little early for lunch & found on-street parking on a weekday (Tuesday). All in all a great place to celebrate & indulge. Note: they add a customary gratuity to EVERY check which is STANDARD for this high-tourist destination; no complaining about adequately tipping ”
“ We were in Miami for a few days and wanted to try yardbird, I never heard of it so didn’t know what to expect but boy was I blow away! We started off with drinks, I got the turmeric tonic, it was so refreshing and delicious. Then for the appetizers we got fried greet tomatoes and the deviled eggs. We weren’t too fond of the eggs but the tomatoes were so good. For the entree, I ordered the shrimp and grits, I was disappointed because it was kind of cold and didn’t taste like i expected it to. My sister got the fried chicken and waffles, my brother got the chicken sandwich, both of which they enjoyed. I got to try some of his fries, they were perfectly cooked, some of the best I’ve had. When we were done they brought out a big plate of dessert for us to try, very nice touch. We even got to meet the head chef, Francisco, who was very sweet and kind. Overall a great experience! ”
“ This is a great place to visit if you are in the Miami area. We started with the green tomato stackers. They are green tomatoes stacked with pork belly, pimento cheese, and jam. I ordered the fried chicken, and my wife ordered the shrimp and grits. The chicken is made to order and delicious. The pieces were huge, and I couldn't even finish half. Our service was excellent, too. ”

“ This is a must go... the chicken melts in your mouth delicious!!! All the food is really good . We were greeted by a beautiful lady who seated us I wish I l ew her name. Our waiter Bo I can honestly say is one of the best servers I have ever met!! That young man is phenomenal . I would definitely highly recommend this place and ask for Bo.. Lol he will make you happy!!! The drinks are good they have a huge bar. . Try the Toe in the sand. Thanks you all we are definitely coming back ”
“ We ate here for lunch on a Thursday with no reservation. It wasn’t too crowded so we were seated quickly. The short version is, everything from the ambiance, the service, the food, (even the bathroom), was exceptional. Our server was Annella R. She was amazing. She refilled our water and kept checking on us and was just so pleasant! Our food came out quick and it was good and hot. We ordered an app of the biscuits. They came out warm with a side of butter and jam. They were DELICIOUS. There were 4 and I could have eaten them all, but I wanted to save room for my lunch. I can’t stress enough how delicious they were. I also ordered a side of the cheese grits. They were not listed as a side on the menu at lunch, but I asked and Annella said they are served at lunch. I’ve only eaten instant grits and when these came out, they were nice and hot and there was enough to share. They were beyond delicious (a far cry from the instant I make). I highly recommend. My friend had been dreaming of the shrimp and grits. The presentation was beautiful and she thoroughly enjoyed them. She indicated they were a little spicy, but she loved them – practically licked the plate! I had the Country Cobb Protein Bowl. It comes with a lot of goodies in it and is served cold. It comes with avocado and chicken, but I left those 2 items out. (I’m vegetarian so no chicken, and don’t’ like avocado.) My request was perfectly accommodated. The bowl was very good with a kind of vinegarette dressing. Both entrees were plentiful. By the time we were done eating, we were about to explode so we didn’t have any dessert. Everything was so good and I’m happy we went here. Despite living in Miami, I never go to Miami Beach, until today. I don’t have anything negative to say about Yardbird; however, I want to point out a couple things. It is pricey for my terms. Again, I don’t go to the Beach and the prices are probably the going rate for this tourist-rich area. Also, when the bill came, I didn’t understand it, exactly. It had in larger print, “Gratuity (18.00%).” Being ignorant, I didn’t understand if this meant a suggested tip or the tip was already included, so I asked. It meant the gratuity was already included in the total. That was fine with me, but I would have left 20%, because as I said, the service was exceptional. I just didn’t know how to correct that. It is now my understanding that places on the Beach sometimes add in the gratuity. Again, I had no objection to that. Last, but not least, I wish there had been some vegetarian options on the menu. There were a couple veg sides, but no meal that wasn’t served with chicken, beef, or seafood. None of those things stopped us from enjoying a fabulous meal here. I highly recommend it. There are plenty of restaurants on Lincoln Road, and this one is just 2 blocks off Lincoln Road - I am so glad we ate here. ”
